Hard Day Screening

RADE are delighted to announce that this year's short film "Hard Day" along with last year's short film "Today" will be screened as part of Dublin Culture Night 2010.

Date: Friday September 24th

Location:Dublin Civic Offices Woodquay. The art exhibition will be opened by the new Lord Mayor.

Sinn Fein President Gerry Adam visits RADE

While on the campaign trail Sinn Fein President Gerry Adam visited RADE to speak with participants about their right to vote. He encouraged participants to register and have their voices heard.

RADE win a STAR Award

The RADE project was recognised by AONTAS for their creative and innovative approach to adult education. RADE Director, Michael Egan and participants Emma Ryan and Eddie Geraghty accepted the award at Dublin Castle.

Irish Times Living Award for RADE

RADE are awarded highly commended by the Irish Times Living Award. The ceremony took place in Trinity College Sciences Building. The award was presented by Lord Mayor Councillor Emer Costello and PJ Timmins, Dublin Chamber of Commerce President.

Jack, Jill, and the Green Devil

The Drugs and Harm Reduction film festival team were pleased to inform RADE that their film “Jack, Jill, and the Green Devil” was selected for screening at the International Conference on the Reduction of Drug Related Harm in Liverpool, UK, 26-29 April 2010.

RADE have received the Aontas Star Award for their “exceptional contribution to Adult Education” for the second consecutive year. This a wonderful achievement for all the participants, staff, trainers and organisations that support RADE’s work. We have a jam packed schedule for 2010.

RADE Open Drama Day

RADE opened their doors as part of the Adult Learners Festival to family, friends and community groups. Guests were entertained by a series of 10 drama duologues directed under the guidance of drama facilitator Bren McElroy.

World Premiere of “Hard Day”

RADE are delighted to announce the premiere screening of “Hard Day” will take place on Thursday July 1st in the Irish Film Institute, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

The first screening will be at 12 Noon.
