“Raiders of the Lost Art"

A play written and directed by Michael Egan based on the old Irish myth Táin Bó Cuailnge. The play incorporated Tai Chi.

Display of creative work based on the theme of the Tain facilitated by artists Eoghan O Neill and John Devoy.

About the Work: Minister Pat Carey TD pointed out in his opening speech: “RADE has demonstrated the talent and creativity that is often unseen when people are negatively labelled.”

“Raiders of the Tain” performed to full houses in the Axis Theatre, Ballymun, Draíocht arts centre, Blanchardstown, Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, Dochas Womens prison and for a weeks run in Ballyfermot Civic Centre, Ballyfermot.

Taking inspiration from Táin Bó Cuailnge the group produced imaginative art and wood sculptures
