RADE is an arts project that works with people who are affected by drugs. We provide a programme of workshops that include, art, drama, film, creative writing, tai chi and additonal workshops such as drumming. Each year RADE performs life drama and film to the public, We also stage an art exhibition and lauch a book of the creative writing. This year RADE are lauching their first short fiction film "TODAY". The film will open in the Irish Film Insititue on Tuesday 6th May 2009, and will be attended by Minister John Curren TD. RADE's Aims and Objectives are:

• To engage active and recovering drug users with creative arts activities
• To provide a positive drug free creativie environment
• To offer a sense of belonging and comradeship
• To maximize the participants potential for employment/education
• To provide a gateway opportunity for drug users to engage with the health services
